Dorothy Green

TV actress who made a career as a guest performer on such popular prime-time series as My Three Sons, Marcus Welby MD, and Ironside. Green was best known as a dramatic actress who appeared on detective series and westerns such as Hopalong Cassidy and Gunsmoke. She also had guest roles in lighter fare starting with five episodes of Disneyland in the late '50s and later The Love Boat in the '80s. She tried daytime TV in 1975 when she played Jennifer Elizabeth Brooks in an episode of The Young & the Restless. Green died of a heart attack in Los Angeles, California on May 8, 2008.
